2014 China Financial Consumer Protection Forum was held in the Shaw Conference Centre, RUC

¡¡¡¡Themed as "Internet Financial Innovation and Consumer Protection, "The 2014 Chinese Financial Consumer Protection Forum was held in the Shaw Conference Centre, Renmin University of China on March 12. The forum was jointed organized by the Chongyang Financial Institute of RUC, Financial Law Institute of RUC, the Internet Financial Thousands, and Financial 315.com. The Dean of our law school, Professor Guo Feng attend the forum, commenting on the issue of the internet finance and its regulation. The director of the Financial Law Institute, Professor Huang Zhen announced ¡°the Internet Financial Consumer Protection Proposal". More than 200 experts and scholars, including professor Wang Liming and Professor Yang Dong attended the forum.

¡¡¡¡At the beginning, Professor Yang Dong introduced the purpose and backgrounds of this forum, and reported the results of his relevant research. He suggested the differentiated and classified regulatory system of financial consumer protection, and noted five important aspects of internet financial regulation. In the end, he stressed the cooperation and communication of domestic academic circle. Professor Guo Feng briefly reported the research project of Supreme People¡¯s Court. He used numbers and data to show the potential risks of internet finance. Professor Huang Zhen, on behalf of the organizing committee of the forum, read ¡°the Internet Financial Consumer Protection (Beijing) Initiative¡±. He summarized three characteristics of financial consumerism and proposed practical measures to protect the safety and security of financial consumerism.
